Since 2015 the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull outfit has been in charge of KTM’s 250cc racing program
in both Supercross and motocross, but it was announced a few weeks earlier that TLD was switching
to GasGas motorcycles beginning in 2021. As a result, KTM will, once again, go in-house with its
250-racing program and will support a single rider, Maximus Vohland, who will make his professional debut in 2021.
Vohland is a product of KTM’s Orange Brigade Amateur Motocross program and is a five-time Loretta
Lynn’s AMA National Champion. He was recently crowned 2019 AMA Youth Rider of the Year.
